From Your Director ...

The Jackson-Madison County Library has a new Library Director. New Director, Valorie Doyle comes from Delta, Colorado, where she has been the Library Manager since January 2005. Prior to her position in Delta, she was the assistant Branch Manager of the Pikes Peak Library District in Colorado Springs, Colorado for four years. Ms. Doyle comes with strong management abilities, educational credentials and outstanding recommendations.

Ms. Doyle stated, "I am confident that in working together as a team, the Jackson-Madison County Library will be the absolute best it can be. I am also looking forward to working for LSSI, and their team management approach. Library Directors are usually responsible for all aspects of running a library. That is not so when you're a member of LSSI. The LSSI Management Team provides experienced library experts that are available to work on every aspect of library operations, from book selection and program planning to locating and designing new library branches."

We welcome Valerie to Jackson, and look forward to great things. Stop by the Library and say hello. You'll be glad you did!!!
