Issue 81 - November 22, 2006

From Your Director ...

Here it is again . . . The Holidays. The City is putting up the Christmas Tree in front of City Hall, the stores are full of every decoration and item you can imagine, and I haven't even bought the bird for Thursday yet.

A lot of things are available downtown for your holiday enjoyment. It's a busy time for everyone, so stop, treat yourself, relax and take part and enjoy all of the very special events and shopping experiences available downtown. Check the calendar in the newsletter for all the downtown happenings.

The holidays can be a stressful time, if you let it. Take time to come downtown and see the decorated trees on court house square, enjoy the Christmas Pops at the Civic Center. Enjoy the various unique shopping experiences that the downtown has to offer. Eat at the downtown eateries that feature specialty foods.

You deserve the experience, and you'll be glad you did!
