From Your Director . . .

Jackson Downtown Development Corporation (JDDC) Board of Directors voted to forgo the previously held September event, Main Street Music/Music on the Green held at noon on Fridays in September in past years. This year we are hosting "Rally in the Alley" on Thursday, September 14th and 28th, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The South Court Alley behind the Dixie Castle off Church Street and Liberty Street will be blocked off for the event where cold beverages, food and live music will be available.

JDDC, Pringles/P&G, Camp's Market, and Horton & Associates are sponsors for the event on the 14th. JDDC; Aeneas Internet; Askew, Hargraves, Harcourt and Associates, Inc.; and Horton & Associates are sponsors for the event on the 28th.

On the 14th you'll smell the hot dogs cooking, cold drinks, and the band Flashback will be playing. On the 28th Askew, Hargraves, Harcourt and Associates, Inc. will be preparing and serving their award winning barbeque sandwiches. The Joseph McKinney Band will perform for your listening pleasure.

You sure won't want to miss these two special evenings. Stop by after work, meet friends and colleagues for a couple of hours of fun, food. and music.
