From Your Director . . .

JDDC is really excited about hosting the Jackson Realtors Community to a "Downtown Open House" this coming Friday evening. Many of the newer real estate agents have never been downtown, and some have not been downtown since the tornado of 2003, so there is a lot to showcase and brag about.

Several renovated buildings will be open to see what great things can really be done with older spaces. Several new available buildings will be open and numerous unique existing businesses will be staying open for the evening. There will be "Music on the Street" by three different groups, and at various businesses.

Realtors are invited to a free dinner at the Bakers Rack at 5:30 where celebrity waiters will be serving. The walking tour starts at 6:30 with music to set the tone. Friday is going to be one of those special evenings that you will just want to walk the streets and take it all in, listen to the music, network, and raise the awareness of how great the downtown really is and all it has to offer. We hope the general public will come down too and enjoy Fabulous Friday that begins at 7:00 pm. All the buildings will remain open, so plan on an enjoyable visit downtown this Friday!! You'll be glad you did.
