Issue 152 - April 2, 2008

From Your Director ...

The March of Dimes will be hosting two events in downtown Jackson in the month of April.  The first is Breakfast for Babies which will be held this Friday, April 4th from 7:00-10:00 a.m.  Join them at The Baker’s Rack, 203 E. Lafayette and enjoy a delicious breakfast featuring “celebrity” servers.  A portion of the proceeds will go towards the March for Babies.

Later this month, The March of Dimes will host the 2008 March for Babies at the Jackson Fairgrounds Park, 800 S. Highland.  This fundraiser helps The March of Dimes achieve their mission to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.   Join in the fun of this national tradition on Sunday, April 20th.  Registration begins at 12:30 p.m. with the March beginning at 2:00 p.m.  Call Jeannie Patrick at 668.1023 for more information.

Welcome to the future of Downtown Jackson ... one we can invent together!
