Issue 150 - March 19, 2008

From Your Director ...

Did you notice that downtown Jackson looks a little cleaner and brighter?  We owe a big thanks to the Girl Scouts of Reelfoot Council, who spent the afternoon of March 10th cleaning and sweeping our streets. Through their generous efforts, our downtown looks even more inviting, just in time for spring.  Check out our photo album of the event.  Thank you Girl Scouts for your dedication to downtown Jackson!

In fact, we are grateful to the many individuals and community organizations that continue to support downtown Jackson.  If you haven’t already, we invite you and/or your organization to engage in community service or plan an event downtown.  JDDC offers many opportunities for community service as we seek to address the needs of the downtown community.  In addition, JDDC can offer assistance in planning an event at one of our unique downtown venues.

If you are interested in learning more about community service opportunities or hosting an event downtown, contact JDDC or visit our website at www.DowntownJackson.com

Welcome to the future of Downtown Jackson ... one we can invent together!
