Jackson Downtown Development Corporation is proud to introduce the newest member of our team, Carrie Pickett. She brings a wealth of experience in office management as well as a passion for photography. Most importantly, she has a positive attitude and enthusiasm regarding the growth opportunities that exist for downtown Jackson.

Please come by and introduce yourself as Carrie becomes acquainted with downtown and all the wonderful personalities and businesses that make it unique. We look forward to strengthening our team as we seek to accomplish the mission of Jackson Downtown Development Corporation. Life from the front porch

James Gregory, began earning a living as a salesman, but his real persuasiveness was as a storyteller.
Twenty something years later Gregory pokes fun at everyone from health fanatics to animal rights activists, and his fans flock to hear him in droves. Tickets range in price from $25 to $30.

NAIA Tournament

Help us welcome the NAIA Women’s Division I Basketball Championship back to Jackson for its 19th year! Tickets for the 2008 tournament go on sale to the public on March 5, at the Carl Perkins Civic Center Box Office.  Volunteer and Sponsor slots are still available for this week-long series of events.

Arthur Live !

Award winning PBS series 'Arthur Live!' comes to town.  In the show, Arthur the Aardvark and his friends from Elwood city face the issues that real kids deal with every day.  The musical production is 90 minutes long with a 20 minute intermission.  Tickets are $15 for reserved seating and $25 for premium.

Caribbean Sound:  An American Carnival

The full stage production mixes the sound and culture of the Caribbean through Calypso, Soca, and Latin music with Classical, American Pop and original compositions.
