From Your Director ...

Downtown Jackson will be celebrating Fat Tuesday with the News/Talk 101.5 9th Annual Mardi Gras Parade on February 5th. This is a great time to come out and enjoy all that downtown Jackson has become. Applications with complete details on safety and operations can be found online at www.wnws.com. The parade starts at 12:00 p.m., so join us downtown for the fun and festivities.

The Lambuth Area Neighborhood Association will also be hosting a family-oriented Mardi Gras parade on Saturday, February 2, 2008. Staging will take place at 10:00 a.m. at Lambuth University. This walking parade gives the kids in Jackson a chance to have their own parade, so come out and have fun. For more information, contact Scott Murray at 554.1504 or lana@aeneas.net.

Welcome to the future of Downtown Jackson ... one we can invent together!
