Issue 140 - January 9, 2008
From Your Director ...
Jackson Downtown Development Corporation is proud to host the Tennessee Main Street Program Quarterly Manager’s Meeting this week. This is a unique opportunity to showcase our beautiful downtown to visitors from other Main Street communities across the state.
The Tennessee Main Street Program provides assistance to communities in revitalizing their downtown and central business districts, which are vital components of economic development and job growth. Jackson is one of only 21 Main Street communities in Tennessee. Look for our new signs located on Main Street in downtown Jackson.
Most importantly, Main Street relies on community involvement and support. In fact, we are always looking for volunteers to help us make downtown Jackson a better place. If you are interested in volunteer opportunities with Jackson Downtown Development Corporation, please contact us at 427-7573.
Welcome to the future of Downtown Jackson ... one we can invent together!
