Reception and Display at the Dickson Gallery

Opening reception presenting the art of Dana F. Brooks, titled "Finesse: A Journey in Encaustic Art," on display November 30 through December 15.  Dana demonstrates the delicate and skillful approach required in using an encaustic (having fused colors) medium indicative of the old masters.  The process is totally intuitive and inspired by the unexpected happening that occurs when wax pigment and heat interact.  Exclusively at The Dickson Gallery Downtown.  Right in any light.
