From Your Director ...

Main Street Publishing has been a unique asset to downtown Jackson for over 11 years. This publishing company is owned and operated by dn english and Dr. Danny Winbush. Their goal is to give authors premium services at the most competitive prices. dn english says, “It has always been my dream to showcase talented writers and artists, the ones who don’t always get the chance to be heard.”

Working with a local publishing company has its advantages as writers can interact with Main Street Publishing’s staff as well as receive the encouragement and support they need in order to create the book of their dreams. Main Street Publishing has published over 140 books which can be purchased online or at their bookstore called, Something to Read, located inside the Shops of the Painted Lady in downtown Jackson.

On Saturday, November 17, Main Street Publishing presents their 7th Annual Book Release Celebration of “The Talent Among Us.” The celebration will highlight this year’s publication, "Inspirations," a collection of short stories and poems by 38 Tennessee writers. Meet some of the writers who were chosen for this year's book and hear the long awaited announcement of the winners of the short story and poetry contests!

Don’t miss this exciting event which will take place at 11:00 a.m. at the Pythian Building, 206 East Main Street. For more information, contact Main Street Publishing at 427.7379 or visit their website, www.mainstreetpublishing.com

Welcome to the future of Downtown Jackson ... one we can invent together!
