Issue 120 - Aug 22, 2007

From Your Director ...

Downtown Jackson is proud to welcome The Jackson Symphony as our newest downtown business.  The Jackson Symphony moved to their new location at 207 E. Lafayette St., as of August 1, 2007.  We are grateful for the strong tradition The Jackson Symphony represents in the community and we look forward to a fabulous program for the upcoming season.

The Jackson Symphony presents their annual Starlight Symphony Concert on Saturday, August 25.  Bring a blanket and a picnic for this family-friendly event.  Sit back and relax under the stars as the orchestra performs an exciting program of popular and light classical favorites.  This free concert begins at 6:45 p.m. on the grounds of the First Presbyterian Church at 1573 N. Highland.

Welcome to the future of Downtown Jackson ... one we can invent together!
