Issue 117 - Aug 1, 2007

From Your Director ...

Thank you for making “Boogie on Baltimore,” a success!  Jackson Downtown Development Corporation and The Elks Building hosted more than 300 people on Baltimore Street last Friday.  Many enjoyed music, dancing, food and fellowship until after 11:00 p.m.  The energy downtown was fantastic … check out our photos

It’s hard to believe that students are preparing to return to school.  The Regional Inter-Faith Association (RIFA) is asking for donations to meet new public school dress code requirements.  Clothing can be delivered to 219 N. Highland Ave. from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.  For more information, contact Donna Vickers at 427-7963.

Welcome to the future of Downtown Jackson ... one we can invent together!
