After much anticipation, Boogie on Baltimore is finally here! On Friday, July 27, The Elks Building and Jackson Downtown Development Corporation are proud to bring you an exciting, family-friendly event in beautiful Downtown Jackson.

Held in conjunction with Fabulous Friday, Boogie on Baltimore will feature a free, live performance of The Soul Outsiders at 8 p.m. Bring a blanket or chair and come enjoy food, fellowship and live music. Don’t forget to visit the featured businesses on Baltimore which include Starbucks, Quiznos, Subway and Marguerite’s.

Come early so you can join local merchants and business owners as they open their doors at 7 p.m. to celebrate Fabulous Friday. There is so much to choose from, whether you like art, dining, shopping, or theatre, there’s something for everyone downtown! Ice Cream Social to Celebrate Summer Reading Program Finale

Join the Jackson-Madison County Library as they celebrate another successful summer reading program and recognize all their readers. 

Come visit Rotary Park for fun activities and ice cream.  In the event of rain, the social will be moved inside the library.

Jackson Children’s Theatre presents, The Jungle Book

The tale of Mowgli, a young boy raised by wolves, who learns the way of the jungle with the help of his friends.  Tickets are on sale at The Jackson Centre Box Office.

Thomas Media Beauty Pageant


The pageant will feature girls from birth to age 21 and boys up to the age of 4.  Two girls will be awarded a $500 modeling scholarship.  Entry forms can be picked up at Bonnie’s Boutique, Elements Salon & Spa or at Thomas Media.
