Issue 115 - July 18, 2007

From Your Director ...

A week filled with music and theatre … that’s the buzz downtown!  Jackson continues to reinforce its strong musical heritage that we are so proud of.  You can virtually find music around every corner in downtown Jackson.  You’ll find music at the Jackson-Madison County Library, at the Downtown Tavern, at Jokes-n-Jamz, at Lola’s, at Denise LaSalle’s Blues Room, at the International Rock-A-Billy Hall of Fame, and at the Carl Perkins Civic Center of course!  These venues among others draw crowds from all over the mid-South, so come down and see what you’ve been missing, right here in Jackson.

The Jackson Theatre Guild proudly presents, Man of La Mancha, one of the great theatre successes of our time.  Come out and support the arts in a performance that encourages the participation of the audience’s imagination as part of the enjoyment of the show.

Welcome to the future of Downtown Jackson ... one we can invent together!

1 Week from Friday! Have you made your plans yet?
