From Your Director ...

We are excited to kick off summer downtown this Friday, June 29th with Fabulous Friday. As many of you know, the last Friday of each month, Jackson Downtown Development Corporation (JDDC) presents “Fabulous Friday” in an effort to highlight downtown merchants. This month’s event consists of a wonderful array of activities including music, art, theatre, dining and much more. Please check out our calendar below and come downtown this Friday to see what you’ve been missing!

Next week we welcome new County Mayor, Jimmy Harris and new City Mayor, Jerry Gist along with new City Council Members. Swearing-in ceremonies are scheduled for Monday and Tuesday respectively
at 9:00 a.m. We welcome these new leaders and look forward to their ideas and initiatives for Jackson’s future.
