You only have a month to get ready and your running shoes on for the Sports Orthopedics & Spine 5K Run. The race is directed by the Jackson Roadrunners and start time is 8:00 a.m. Saturday, June 2nd. Proceeds will be used for child abuse prevention programs.

The entry fee is $12 for pre-registration, and $15 for race day registration. Walkers pay $10 to enjoy the 5K route. Registration will be held at the corner of New Market and Lafayette Streets beginning at 7:00 a.m., Saturday, June 2nd. T-shirts are reserved for the first 100 runners.
