Issue 168 - July 23, 2008

From Your Director ...

Over the past year, we've seen our website statistics soar! From 2007 to 2008 year-to-date, we have seen a 41% increase in First Time Visitors and an almost 50% increase in people returning to the website. Bluesfest and events related activities lead the Popular Pages with Business Listings and Available Properties slightly trailing. This exciting trend means that our website has become an important resource for our community. We continuously analyze our site to ensure that it provides relevant information to meet the needs of all our downtown constituents.

In the next few weeks, you will see a whole new DowntownJackson.com. However, in an effort to create the best website possible, we would like to elicit feedback from our users. We would like to know what you expect to find when you visit downtownjackson.com. You can share your thoughts with us by filling out our brief survey

Be sure to check back with us soon, as we are eager to share our new website design with you . . . our downtown family! Thanks for helping us grow as we seek to meet the ever expanding needs of downtown Jackson.

Welcome to the future of Downtown Jackson ... one we can invent together!
