Held from September thru May, on the first Friday of the month at Noon, at the 1st United Methodist Church, 200 South Church Street, Downtown Jackson. First Friday Forum JACKSON, TENNESSEE—First Friday Forum welcome’s Hal Crocker from Healthy Community, LLC. And Dr. Lisa Piercey from West Tennessee Healthcare on Friday, February 3, 2012. As the landscape continues to change in downtown Jackson, there are more questions and excitement about the new development. Mr. Crocker and Dr. Piercey will share their vision, answer questions and give up to date details of the progress. At First Friday Forum, Dr. Piercey will share all the amenities the LIFT center will provide to not only the Jackson CityWalk area, downtown Jackson, but the West Tennessee region.
Mr. Hal Crocker is president of HCB Corporation in Jackson, TN. HCB has developed, owns, and in partnership with residential, retail, and commercial/industrial properties in Jackson and surrounding area. HCB also offers a full range of construction and maintenance services through its construction management partner, Crocker Construction Company. Mr. Crocker is a true supporter of the downtown Jackson. The New Southern restoration after the 2003 tornado and restoration of the Neely House are just two examples of his dedication to downtown. Mr. Crocker has partnered with Henry Turley in Memphis Tennessee to form Healthy Community, LLC. Since founding The Henry Turley Company in 1977, Mr. Turley has devoted his talents to developing better places for people to live, work, and grow. His vision began in downtown Memphis, TN, with Harbor Town, South Bluffs, and Uptown. Together, Mr. Crocker and Mr. Turley have combined their expertise and passion for downtown and community into a 17 acre development containing apartments, single-family homes, commercial and a wellness center, LIFT. The development is Jackson CityWalk.
Dr. Lisa Piercey, Vice President of West Tennessee Healthcare, is a pediatrician in the Jackson community and has served as the Assistant Medical Director for the Jackson Madison county General Hospital since 2009. As vice president of the WTH, Dr. Piercey will lead the initiatives to improve the health of the community, with a focus on addressing prevention, disease management, and promoting a healthier lifestyle with the opening of LIFT.
