Due to popular demand Jackson Downtown Development Corporation (JDDC) has revived the Downtown Block Party. “Lettin’ Loose on Lafayette” will take place April 25, at 6:00 p.m. on Lafayette Street, (between Highland and Liberty). The event is family oriented, free, open to the public and held in conjunction with Fabulous Friday.

On the 25th, begin your family’s evening with dinner at one of the downtown eateries.  Grab your lawnchairs and wander over to Lafayette Street at 6:00 p.m., to catch a live performance of "Widdershins" performing a standard serving of hits from across the spectrum. At 7:00 p.m. Downtown Business Owners and Merchants open their doors in celebration of Fabulous Friday.
